Messe Berlin is one of the most prestigious Exhibition and Convention complexes in the world. This scheme was designed to replace the Deutschlandhalle, located in the most prominent site of the famous complex in the City of Berlin. The scheme comprises two 10,000m2 halls, one multipurpose hall, generous access and break-out areas and efficient servicing capability. Following the site’s topography, the two main halls are staggered vertically, allowing the new building to connect and enhance existing facilities. The main space of the scheme is the Public Park, located between the two main halls: this open, landscaped space provides restaurants and other communal areas, serving as an ideal break-out space for conventions and exhibitions.
